Lake Mburo Safari

Departure from Entebbe/Kampala & Afternoon Game Drive in Lake Mburo

After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. Begin your scenic drive west towards Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda's smallest savanna national park, known for its zebras and impalas. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours with a stopover at the Equator for photo opportunities and souvenirs. Arrive at the park, check into your lodge, and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive through the park. Look out for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, topis, elands, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight at your chosen lodge.

Morning Activity (Boat Safari/Walking Safari) & Return to Entebbe/Kampala

Start your day with an early morning activity. You can choose between a boat safari on Lake Mburo to see hippos, crocodiles, and water birds, or a guided walking safari, which offers a unique opportunity to get up close with animals like zebras and giraffes on foot (one of the few parks where this is permitted). After the activity, return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out. Begin your drive back to Entebbe or Kampala, arriving in the late afternoon/early evening, with drop-off at your preferred location or Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.
