After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala (expect an earlier start from Kampala due to the transfer to Entebbe). You'll be transferred to a designated pier in Entebbe (e.g., Waterfront Beach). From there, embark on a scenic motorized boat ride across Lake Victoria to **Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary**. The boat trip itself offers beautiful views of the lake and surrounding islands (approx. 45 minutes by speed boat or 1.5-2 hours by motorized canoe). Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you'll receive a briefing from the dedicated staff about the sanctuary's mission and the rescued chimpanzees. Witness the thrilling **morning chimpanzee feeding session** from a raised viewing platform, providing an incredible opportunity to observe these intelligent primates up close as they interact and forage. Learn about their individual stories and the conservation efforts to protect them. Enjoy lunch on the island. In the afternoon, you'll have time to explore the visitor's center, learn more about chimpanzee behavior, and simply relax amidst the island's serene environment. Later, board your boat for the return cruise to Entebbe. Upon arrival back on the mainland, your guide will transfer you to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey.
