After an early morning breakfast at your lodge located within your designated sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a crucial briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Here, you'll be assigned a gorilla family to trek and learn about trekking guidelines and safety protocols. Embark on the highly anticipated **Mountain Gorilla Trekking** experience. This incredible 'forest walk' involves navigating through the dense, misty forest, following trails made by the gorillas and their trackers. The trek can range from 1 to 8 hours (or even more), depending on the gorillas' movements and the terrain. Once you locate the gorilla family, you will spend a magical and unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat, witnessing their social interactions, feeding habits, and playful moments. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. After your incredible trek, return from the forest. You will have lunch (often a packed lunch eaten during the trek or at your lodge upon return).
